After graduating from UCSB, Mike spent the next 3 years producing and helping create independent films and live theater performances in Santa Barbara and Prague before returning home to Los Angeles.
For the next ten years he worked in commercial production and reality television, wearing many hats from PA to Production Coordinator to Production Accountant, to Talent Coordinator, and more.
In 2011, Mike took over the role of General Manager of Global Effects, Inc., a specialty props, costumes, and sets rental and manufacturing house. For the next ten years, he was fortunate to work on many incredible projects with some amazingly talented artists. Overseeing projects for film, television, live performance, museum installations, amusement parks, and private collections, Mike gained a wealth of experience and connections. It was at Global that Mike met Harout, Heath and Roger, and the team was formed. Together they were able to bring a new vision to the company which focused on the customer experience and collaboration.
When an opportunity arose to be a part of a new company and to expand the focus and the types of services one could provide, Mike was thrilled to partner up with the very people who made the last ten years a success.
To keep the artistic juices flowing, Mike is a founding member of Troubadour Theater Company, a Los Angeles based theater company, and served as
Executive Director for over 20 years.
